2024 was another successful year at Smith Stearns!

Our students have shined on the professional circuit, in college, and in juniors!

Here are a few of the highlights…

Jessie Pegula reached a career high WTA ranking of #3 in the world in singles and was a Grand Slam Singles Finalist at the US OPEN! A few of her many highlights during another amazing year on tour!

Cleeve Harper finished a stellar career at the University of Texas where highlights include an NCAA Doubles title in 2022, NCAA Doubles Finalist in 2023, and many All-American honors! Cleeve has joined the ATP tour where he has won 6 Challengers this past year and is already top 150 in the world!

JJ Tracy has consistently been one of the top ranked collegiate players in both singles and doubles while playing for Ohio State University! In 2024, JJ won the NCAA Doubles title and competed in the US OPEN where he won his first round match. JJ also made his first ATP Finals appearance at the ATP in Newport. JJ is already ranked #126 in the world!

Safir Azam is on a roll since joining the academy last year. He won the gold ball at the at the B16 USTA National Indoors and the USTA National Winter Championships!

Zesen Wang won the gold ball at the B14 USTA National Winter Championship! Zesen is currently the 6th rated boy in the 8th grade class on Tennis Recruiting!

Gabe Jessup has continued to rise in the ranks posting excellent results, and is currently the #7 rated recruit in the Sophomore Class on Tennis Recruiting!

In the past 10 years our students have committed to some of the nation’s best tennis and academic colleges:
